Manchin will have an about face soon on the abortion issue as he does everything else. He tells everyone what they want to hear at the time. Here is another one of those times. This is copied from Republican Gazette website.
I wish everyone would do some research and see all the lies this guy tells in a week.
In Fairmont, Manchin takes credit; in Jefferson Cty, says it wasn't his decision
Wednesday, June 18, Fairmont Times:
Gov. Joe Manchin said Tuesday he’s going to free up state highway construction dollars to finish the new Gateway Connector highway by 2010. The governor’s action to transfer state funds from other highway projects that have run into delays breaks a funding logjam... “Our goal is to award the last two contracts this year and hopefully get the road finished in 2010,” said Lara Ramsburg, the governor’s communications director.
Friday, June 20, The (Martinsburg) Journal:
It’s a use-it-or-lose-it situation, Ramsburg said. The $21 million must be allocated for a project before Oct. 1. She said the recommendation for the reallocation came from the Department of Transportation and didn’t originate with the governor’s office.

Actually quit funny if you sit and think about it. He honestly believes that the citizens on WV are so stupid that they don't pay attention to his contradictions to his own words. He actually believes that we believe his lies. wow. that could be construed as a mental illness falling into the catagory of delusional. lmao. Joe, leave us alone, go away, we don't to hear no more of your lies. We want someone who won't lie to us, someone who believes in what we believe in and that never says that he does when he doesn't. In other words Manchin, we want a real American Hero as our Governor. One who won't tell us to go shop at Gabes and save money and that as long as we are eligable for food stamps after working for you, that at least we are getting state benifits.
The Associated Press has produced a story appearing in most newspapers today about just how meaningless Gov. Joe Manchin's much-hyped incremental reduction of the state food tax really is for most consumers and grocers.
The story notes that "Tina Barnes, owner of Liberty Grocery in the Northern Panhandle town of West Liberty, would have rather seen the tax lowered all at once instead of in three increments. 'It's more of a pain. I have to pay somebody to program my register,' she said. 'A service call is usually $100.'"
The story quotes other shoppers and grocers who generally agree the reduction to three percent makes no difference, making the point that most surrounding states have no food tax at all, and shoppers continued to cross the borders.
